Rememberance Day This Weekend

For a trip back in time, spend the day in New Amsterdam celebrating Rememberance Day. Rememberance Day activities will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a parade at 11 a.m. Activities include bus tours of the New Amsterdam Quarry (beginning at noon and at 2 p.m.), the Valley City Church and Mulzer Crushed Stone. Other festival activities include several flea market booths, lunch at the Fellowship Hall of New Amsterdam Church, spinning, quilting and woodworking with Merle Behr and Family, several demonstrations including two shows by 6 Guns Entertainment, a children's fishing tournament and much more.
