Battle of Corydon Reenactment - THIS WEEKEND

On July 9, 1863, renegade General John Hunt Morgan led his troops into Corydon on the Confederacy's boldest and longest raid into Union territory. Held up by 400+ homeguard (which were no match for 2000+ trained cavalry), a skirmish ensued which lives in history as the Battle of Corydon.

Relive this unusual bit of history as uniformed and costumed reenactors representing both sides of the line tell the story of life and death during the American Civil War.
