Swedish Band to Headline Bluegrass on the Square 2010 Summer Concert Opener

This year’s series opener features the up-and-coming European bluegrass band, G2. The Swedish bluegrass band is set to perform on June 26, offering a truly unusual twist on bluegrass and country music, guests are sure to be treated to an unforgettable musical experience. Five Swedish musicians, all best friends, launched G2 four years ago and have quickly become an international phenomenon. Their first CD, “Where the Tall Grass Grows,” was internationally acclaimed propelling the band to win the #1 European Bluegrass Band title in 2007. G2 has toured all over the world and across the U.S., including performing at IBMA Fan Fest, ROMP and Bean Blossom Festivals. The band also served as an opening act for music legend Kris Kristofferson. More information on G2 is available at g2bluegrassband.com.
