Friday Night Summer Band Concert Series Begins May 21
The 2010 concert series is sponsored by the Harrison County Convention and Visitors Bureau and coordinated by the Corydon Capitol State Historic Site and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources. The concerts will be held at the Hurley D. Conrad Memorial Bandstand on the Historic Corydon Square each Friday night at 7:30 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
Food service is available each concert evening beginning at 6 p.m. provided by area churches and charitable organizations. Visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs as seating is limited. Concerts may be moved or cancelled in case or rain. Visit thisisIndiana.org for up-to-date weather cancellations.
Tucked away in the rolling hills of southern Indiana, I am the home of the first state Capitol and the only Civil War battle fought in Indiana. I host a variety of attractions including forests and parks, historic sites, wineries, summer concerts, tours, and festivals. In Harrison County, there is truly something for the whole family to enjoy. Why go anywhere else? Visit Harrison County on your next vacation!
